A family shop with a warehouse behind it

Byers Wholesale is the resale arm of Gregson Studios, our family-owned Denver studio. For about twenty years the studio has done web, graphics, print and production work, and along the way it grew a prop shop, a haunt crew and a small warehouse near Watkins, Colorado.

The resale business started in 2026 with one purchase: the parts and equipment of a Denver commercial coffee and restaurant equipment repair company that closed. We sold the dishwashers, ovens, blenders and grinders, kept the parts flowing on eBay, and found we were good at it. Since then the shelves have filled with what comes through a working production family: camera kits, road cases, racks, guitars, sewing machines, furniture from sets, and the props we build ourselves.

Where the stuff comes from

We work in and with television and film production companies, prop and set design shops and professional haunt businesses. When they need to liquidate, it comes to us: demo units, test products, factory seconds, promotional pieces, props that appeared on screen, and things we built as conceptual products or demonstrated on our CraftMasters DIY channel. There is always something new, and it is not only Halloween; we build for every holiday.

The family of brands

Gregson Studios is the parent. VFX Creates does visual effects and production. Extinction Labs and Blackstone Audio are our haunt and audio brands under HauntNet. CraftMasters DIY teaches crafts, props and holiday projects. How To Cafe teaches AI and everyday technology to normal people. Byers Wholesale is where their surplus gets a second life.

The people

Liora Faibish runs sales: she photographs, lists, answers your messages and meets you at pickup. James "Bud" Gregson sets prices, tests what can be tested and builds the props.

How we sell

Honestly. Every item is photographed from every side, scuffs included, and sold as-is at a fair price. Our eBay store is rated 5 stars; read the feedback there. We answer within a business day.
